IMES Company Introduction
Korea's substation and conversion facility company, SAEA Electric Co., Ltd., and HVDC&FACTS commissioning French company, IMES, first met in 2015 at the HVDV BP2 Jindo Conversion Center KEPCO Bipole 2: Converter Transformers Swap.
MOU Agreement between the two companies in 2017 for each other's pride towards technical skills that the each company has and its value. Two years later, in July 2019, the two companies became partners for the future based on mutual trust and respect, by making a consortium contract.
From now on, please pay a great deal of attention to how the dreams of SAEA Electric Co., Ltd. and IMES together are made into reality.

Introduce and Executed Projects
IMES GROUP(IMES) was incorporated in 2009 as IMES Electricite and founded by Loic Derrien
At its inception, IMES primary focus was the provision of skilled technical services for high voltage infrastructure construction projects.
Supported by a team of engineers with more than 100 years of combined experience.
IMES accumulated achievements in HVDC projects, the team gained recognition with clients thanks to their in-depth knowledge of the HVDC technology and the quality of their services
Since IMES has changed its name to IMES GROUP to reflect the actual corporate structure and vision as well as simplifying the communication with its Clients, Partners, Suppliers and Subsidiaries in Europe : UK, Switzerland, Germany and in Asia
IMES has been operating in South Korea since November 2011. IMES has a permanent establishment in KOREA named IMES Engineering & Contracting Ltd (IMES Korea) since March 2017.
In 2019 IMES Korea signed a consortium agreement with SAEACO and since 2019 September 1st, IMES Korea has their registered offices within SAEACO premises. IMES has been participating at different level, partially or fully to serveral KEPCO HVDC & FACTS projects in terms of work preparation, survery, installation, construction, testing, commissioning or maintenance works.
